Printmaking
Various prints through the years, I feel very connected to the legacy and long historical tradition of satire in literature, art, and in particular, printmaking. It is social commentary, which follows an established tradition in the history of imagery. Through the graphic nature of the mark and potential for mass production, printmaking has always lent itself more towards irony, social satire, and the exposing of human folly.
